Event parking is located at the Hanmer Springs Sports Reserve, just 800 metres from the finish line in Hanmer Springs Village. Follow the parking signs on Argelins Road and Jacks Pass Road upon arrival

Start Waves
To ensure a safe and fair event for participants will start in waves. Be realistic and carefully choose your start waves. Timing and results are based on a Mat to Mat time.
Wave 1 8:00am Start - expect finished time under 130mins
Wave 2 8:05am Start - : expect finished time, 130 -145mins
Wave 3 8:10am Start - expect finished time, 145 -160mins
Wave 4 8:15am Start - expect finished time, 160mins plus
Wave 5 8:20am Start - The party wave
Wave 1 8:00am Start - expect finished time under 130mins
- In this wave runners are aiming to have a great result, give it a crack and maybe try for a PB.
Wave 2 8:05am Start - : expect finished time, 130 -145mins
- In this wave runners are aiming to run the whole course to set a good time
Wave 3 8:10am Start - expect finished time, 145 -160mins
- In this wave runners are aiming to run or jog the whole course.
Wave 4 8:15am Start - expect finished time, 160mins plus
- In this wave runners are aiming to run and walk the course at their own pace.
Wave 5 8:20am Start - The party wave
- This start wave is for the runners and walkers who want to have a bit of a party or dance at the entertainment sites along the course.
What to expect on course
The course is fully supported with event staff, volunteers, medics, drink stations & toilets.
Drink Stations
There will be drink stations on the course to support the participants. The drink stations will have Pure Sports Nutrition electrolytes, water and toilets. Cups are provided.
Course Check points
Course cut-offs are set for event safety and course management. They are based on walking pace and factoring in terrain, weather, and based on the start time of the last group. Participants falling behind pace will be stopped at checkpoints and removed from the event. A team is in place to transport riders back to the venue. Additional cut-offs may be enforced in adverse weather. The check points are listed below
Course Marking
The course is fully marked and there is very little navigation skills required. We use bright blue ribbons and arrows.
Drink Stations
There will be drink stations on the course to support the participants. The drink stations will have Pure Sports Nutrition electrolytes, water and toilets. Cups are provided.

- DS3 - 12.3km
- DS4 - 19.25km

Finisher medals & Prizes
All finishing participants will receive a finishers medal.
Prizes are available for the top three male and female participants in each age group.
Prize giving will be held at 12:00pm at the Village Green on Conical Hill Road.
